Puebla, UNAM Pumas, and Querétaro sit atop the implied probabilities for the 2026-27 Liga MX team finishing with the largest goal differential because early Apertura results and underlying metrics position them as the sides most likely to post the strongest net tallies among a clustered group of mid-table clubs. Puebla’s 4-1-2 start and recent addition of attacking depth have supported a modest positive differential, while Pumas under new leadership and Querétaro’s efficient early results have kept their expected season-long outputs competitive. The narrow spread among the leaders reflects comparable projected xG/xGA balances, schedule strengths, and roster continuity for these teams relative to both stronger sides and those already posting large deficits. Historical patterns in Liga MX show such differentials often tighten over a full campaign spanning both tournaments, sustaining tight trader consensus until clearer separation emerges later in the schedule.
