The 2026-27 Serie A campaign opens with Inter Milan installed as clear title favorites following their dominant 2025-26 triumph, yet the runner-up market remains exceptionally tight because Napoli, Juventus, AC Milan, Como, Atalanta, Roma and several others enter pre-season with comparable squad depth and realistic paths to second place. Recent managerial shifts, including Ruben Amorim’s arrival at Milan and continued stability under Inter’s Cristian Chivu, alongside targeted reinforcements such as Gonçalo Ramos, have narrowed perceived gaps without establishing a dominant second-tier favorite. With the season starting August 22, trader consensus reflects broad parity among mid-tier contenders whose final positions will hinge on early results, injury resilience and head-to-head outcomes across a compressed schedule.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Serie A for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Serie A (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Serie A; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
