This market will resolve "Yes" if the listed organization is selected as a partner team for the VCT Pacific league under the 2027–2028 VCT partnership cycle. Otherwise, this market will resolve "No". If the listed organization is announced as a Pacific partner team on or before December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market resolves "Yes". If Riot announces the Pacific partner teams and the listed organization is not among them, this market resolves "No". If no partnership selection is announced on or before December 31, 2026, this market resolves "No". The primary resolution source will be official announcements from Riot Games and VCT (https://valorantesports.com); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Riot Games' June 2026 overhaul of the VCT structure drives Pacific partnership sentiment, shrinking slots from ten to eight for the 2027 two-year cycle while introducing open qualifiers and removing guaranteed league spots. Selection hinges on verified criteria including community growth, fan engagement metrics, content output, and operational sustainability rather than solely on-field results. Incumbent organizations such as Paper Rex, T1, DRX, and Gen.G hold advantages from established rosters and regional followings, yet face pressure from rising Southeast Asia and Oceania squads plus potential new applicants. The shift to a fully tournament-based format with Last Chance Qualifiers further rewards consistent performance and broad appeal, making roster stability, recent VCT form, and business health the primary variables traders weigh ahead of final Riot decisions.
