The early 2026-27 Premier League campaign features a tightly bunched field for the bottom position, with trader consensus pricing many sides near 50% implied probability due to limited fixtures played and minimal separation in results. Newly promoted Coventry City, Hull City, and Ipswich Town anchor the higher probabilities, as historical patterns show promoted clubs often struggle with the step up in squad depth, physicality, and fixture difficulty. Coventry’s winless start and poor goal difference highlight immediate adaptation challenges, while Hull’s stronger opening points haul and Ipswich’s mixed form keep the group competitive rather than decisive. Established sides such as Crystal Palace, Fulham, and Aston Villa carry lower but non-negligible risk from thin squads and European commitments, sustaining the even distribution until clearer trends emerge over the autumn schedule.

If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish in last place in the 2026-27 English Premier League (EPL) season (e.g., they are mathematically guaranteed to finish above 20th), this market will resolve to "No".
In the event of a tie for last place, this market will resolve based on the club officially recognized by the Premier League as finishing in 20th place. If multiple clubs are officially recognized as finishing in last place, this market will resolve to the club whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If the 2026-27 English Premier League (EPL) season is cancelled, postponed after June 13, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no last-place club declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution source will be official information from the Premier League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
