This market will resolve to the player who scores the most goals through all phases of the 2026-27 Liga MX season (excluding friendlies and exhibitions). Only goals scored in Liga MX matches will count. Goals scored in other competitions (e.g., Campeon de Campeones, CONCACAF Champions Cup, Leagues Cup, international matches) will not count for this market. Goals scored during the Apertura, Clausura and Liguilla will all count toward this market's resolution. If multiple players tie for the top goal scorer, this market will resolve to the tied player who scores fewer goals from penalty kicks during all phases of the 2026-27 Liga MX season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with the higher xG during all phases of the 2026-27 Liga MX season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player whose last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026-27 Liga MX season is canceled or not completed by June 27, 2027, the market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be official statistics from Liga MX. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The early stage of Liga MX Apertura 2026 keeps the top goalscorer market tightly bunched, as no player has pulled away after the opening matchdays amid balanced attacking output across contenders. Salomón Rondón leads current tallies at Pachuca, while Lucas Ocampos, Julián Carranza, and others sit close behind, supported by strong team form from América, Guadalajara, and Toluca. Returning names like Juan Brunetta, Paulinho, João Pedro, and Armando González benefit from proven finishing and creative service, with recent assists and shots-on-target data underscoring their involvement. Liga MX's high-scoring tendencies, combined with minimal early injuries or rotations among key forwards, sustain broad trader consensus around comparable implied probabilities for the long regular-season haul.
