The early weeks of the Apertura 2026 have kept the most-assists race tightly bunched, with no single creator separating from the pack after roughly eight matchdays. Attacking midfielders and wingers such as Alexis Vega, Juan Brunetta, Nicolás Castro, Lucas Ocampos, and José Paradela post similar assist tallies and expected volume, reflecting comparable minutes, team attacking styles, and recent form across clubs like Toluca, Tigres, and Cruz Azul. Trader consensus around the 23–26% range for these names captures the absence of a clear frontrunner, ongoing rotation, and the long schedule ahead that rewards consistency over early bursts. Injuries or tactical shifts could still reorder the leaderboard before November.
