This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the Scottish Premiership for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Scottish Premiership for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Scottish Premiership (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Scottish Premiership; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026-27 Scottish Premiership runner-up market remains exceptionally tight early in the campaign, with no single side establishing clear separation behind Celtic. Hearts, Rangers, Hibernian, Motherwell, and St Mirren each sit in or near the top six after the opening fixtures, buoyed by summer recruitment and variable European schedules that have created uneven fixture lists. Pre-season projections highlighted Rangers and Hearts as the primary challengers, yet inconsistent results, new managerial setups at several clubs, and the impact of promoted sides like Falkirk have kept the second-place picture fluid. Trader consensus reflects this parity, with multiple teams holding realistic paths to the position depending on how form, injuries, and squad depth evolve through the autumn.
