This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the Primeira Liga for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Primeira Liga for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Primeira Liga (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Primeira Liga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The Primeira Liga runner-up market for 2026-27 displays tightly bunched implied probabilities near 49% for Sporting CP, Benfica, and Porto, with Braga, Vitória de Guimarães, Famalicão, and several mid-table sides clustered just behind, underscoring a wide-open race for second place. Pre-season roster turnover, transfer-window activity, and the established big-three's historical rotation in top-two finishes have kept sentiment balanced, as no club has pulled clear on recent form or squad stability. This competitive parity means modest differences in early-season results, injury management, or home/away splits could quickly reshape the field once matches begin.
