This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the champion of the Ligue 2 for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the champion of Ligue 2 for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Ligue 2 (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Ligue 2; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026-27 Ligue 2 campaign features unusual parity at the top due to an influx of established clubs recently relegated from Ligue 1, including Nantes, Metz, Saint-Étienne, Reims, and Montpellier HSC. These sides bring deeper squads, larger budgets, and top-flight infrastructure compared with typical second-division outfits, flattening the hierarchy and preventing any single favorite from pulling clear. Early-season results have shown tight contests among this group alongside ambitious mid-table clubs such as Guingamp, Grenoble, and Annecy, while promoted sides like Dijon and Sochaux add further variables. With multiple teams sharing comparable resources and recent form, trader consensus reflects the league’s balanced profile rather than clear dominance by one contender.
