This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the Peru Liga 1 for the 2026 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Peru Liga 1 for the 2026 season per the rules of Peru Liga 1 (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Peru Liga 1; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The tightly bunched implied probabilities in the Peru Liga 1 2026 runner-up market reflect broad parity across the 18-team field midway through the combined Apertura and Clausura phases. Alianza Lima sits atop the table with a strong points haul and goal difference, but a cluster of sides including Los Chankas, Universitario, FBC Melgar, Cienciano, Deportivo Garcilaso, and Cusco FC remain within striking distance on recent form and head-to-head results. Traditional clubs such as Sporting Cristal and Alianza Lima face pressure from rising sides and newly promoted outfits like FC Cajamarca and Deportivo Moquegua, whose solid early results have kept multiple contenders viable for the second spot. Schedule congestion, home/away splits, and potential late injuries continue to sustain the competitive balance reflected in trader consensus.
