**Jelle Sels enters the Porto 2 Challenger qualifying match against David Poljak with a clear edge rooted in ranking, recent activity, and head-to-head history.** Sels, ranked substantially higher (around 350–450 range), maintains stronger 2025–2026 win rates on indoor surfaces and consistent Challenger-level participation, while Poljak’s singles ranking has slipped near 1,100 amid a heavier focus on doubles, where he has secured multiple 2026 Challenger titles. Their sole prior meeting ended in a three-set Sels victory on indoor hard in 2022. Surface conditions at the event and both players’ recent form on hard or indoor courts further support trader consensus favoring Sels, though Poljak’s experience in similar qualifiers leaves room for competitive sets.
