Jiri Lehecka enters the Cincinnati Open second round as the clear market favorite, holding the No. 9 seed and world ranking near No. 12 after a strong 2026 season that included a Miami Open final. The Czech has compiled a 23-14 record with solid hard-court results and recently advanced past Vit Kopriva, while Matteo Berrettini, ranked around No. 32-42, carries an 18-14 mark but remains hampered by recurring injuries, including a hip issue that prompted his Roland Garros retirement. With no prior head-to-head meetings, traders price Lehecka higher due to superior recent form, fitness, and hard-court consistency against an opponent whose availability and movement remain uncertain on the outdoor surface.
