Aidan Kim, the 21-year-old American ranked around No. 574, faces Dan Martin, the 26-year-old Canadian ranked near No. 437, in a Kingston 2 Challenger qualifying match on hard courts. Martin holds a 1-0 head-to-head edge from a 2023 clay-court win, though recent hard-court results favor Kim’s stronger baseline consistency and serve returns in 2026 challenger events. Kim enters with a 15-7 seasonal record, including solid qualifying wins, while Martin’s steadier second-serve and return percentages on slower surfaces could prove decisive in extended rallies. The hard-court surface and limited recent direct data create a closely contested matchup where recent form and conditioning will heavily influence the outcome.
