Recent polling shows Latino voters, including men, shifting back toward Democrats for the 2026 midterms after Republican gains in 2024. Multiple surveys from UnidosUS, Equis Research, and others indicate Democrats leading the generic congressional ballot among Latinos by 20-plus points nationally and double digits in competitive districts, with specific data pointing to Hispanic men favoring Democrats by roughly 20 points. This stems from sharply negative approval ratings for President Trump among Latino men—around 59% disapproval versus 36% approval—driven primarily by concerns over cost of living, inflation, and economic performance. Defection signals among 2024 Trump voters have risen, with one in five showing potential movement or indecision, though both parties underperform prior support levels amid widespread voter skepticism. Trader consensus reflects these trends in the current pricing.
