Recent opinion polls for Sweden’s September 2026 parliamentary election show the Sweden Democrats (SD) consistently ahead of the Moderate Party (M), with SD at 19–20% and M at 16–18% across surveys from Novus, Indikator Opinion, Demoskop, and SCB through July 2026. This sustained gap reflects SD’s stronger voter base among men and its role in the Tidö governing arrangement, alongside modest seat gains from recent Moderate defections. The Social Democrats lead overall, but the direct SD–M contest has remained stable, with no major reversals in the past month. Traders therefore assign SD an 80.5% implied probability of finishing ahead on election night, consistent with the latest polling averages and historical trends in party preference.
