Pedro Martinez holds a slight edge in the US Open qualifying matchup against Daniil Glinka on outdoor hard courts, reflecting his higher ranking (No. 151 vs. No. 160) and greater experience on the ATP Tour. Martinez defeated Glinka 7-5, 6-3 in the Kingston Challenger semifinal just days earlier, showcasing stronger return play and fewer unforced errors while maintaining serve consistency. Glinka has climbed to a career-high ranking after strong recent results on hard, including wins over Mayot and Ymer, but remains less proven in extended rallies against higher-ranked opponents. Both players enter with solid recent form on the surface, though Martinez’s tactical versatility and break-point conversion rate stand out as key differentiators in a closely contested qualifier. No significant injury concerns have been reported for either player.
