Dali Blanch, a 23-year-old American with a career-high ATP ranking of 284 reached in June 2026, faces 28-year-old Brazilian Felipe Meligeni Alves in the Cancun Challenger qualifying round. Meligeni Alves peaked at No. 117 in 2025 and brings greater overall tour experience despite a current ranking near 560. The matchup pits Blanch’s recent upward trajectory against Meligeni Alves’ veteran presence on hard courts in Mexico, with the winner advancing in the ATP Challenger draw. No confirmed injuries or last-minute roster changes have altered the field, and surface familiarity plus recent match volume will likely shape the outcome in this first-round qualifier.
