Recent roster overhauls and preseason form shape trader views on NFL postseason odds ahead of the September 9 kickoff. The Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks enter as consensus favorites following major additions like Myles Garrett and the Seahawks' status as defending champions, while AFC contenders such as the Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, and New England Patriots benefit from favorable projections and division positioning. Key variables include final 53-man roster decisions by August 30, injury updates from training camp, and early preseason results that test depth and new schemes. Strength of schedule, quarterback stability, and divisional rivalries further influence implied probabilities, with teams holding 45-55% ranges reflecting tight wild-card races where recent momentum and health can shift consensus quickly.
