Both players compete at the lower ITF M25 level on clay, where inconsistent results and frequent qualifier exits define their recent form. Martinovic, a Croatian right-hander born in 2001, has shown limited success in regional events with multiple first-round or qualifying losses through mid-2026, though occasional walkover advances and local familiarity near the Slovenian venue offer minor edges. Martishev, a Russian counterpart of similar age and ranking, posted a handful of qualifier wins earlier in 2025-2026 but exited early in prior Maribor editions and UTR events. Their head-to-head is minimal, featuring one walkover outcome. Trader consensus reflects the matchup's competitive balance between two underperforming clay specialists with no clear recent momentum or injury factors shifting probabilities.
