This market will resolve according to the player that finishes the 2026 WNBA regular season with the highest steals per game average of any qualified player. In the event of a tie for the highest steals per game average, this market will resolve in favor of the player who appeared in the greater number of games. If the tied players also played the same number of games, the market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. Qualification for inclusion in official WNBA leaderboards (such as minimum games or statistical thresholds) will be determined according to WNBA rules and applied exactly as reflected in the official leaderboard. If the 2026 WNBA regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 8, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if an official leader has not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be the WNBA (https://stats.wnba.com/players/traditional/).Rhyne Howard leads WNBA steals-per-game markets at 57% implied probability due to her current 2.4 SPG average through 32 games for the Atlanta Dream, a mark that outpaces teammate Jordin Canada’s 2.0 and the rest of the field by a clear margin. Howard’s combination of perimeter defense, quick hands, and high minutes has produced consistent multi-steal games while she also averages 17.8 points and 3.6 assists. Canada’s second-place standing keeps her as the primary alternative at 10.5%, though the gap has held steady amid recent results. Other contenders such as Bridget Carleton and Chennedy Carter sit well behind and would require sustained elevated defensive output plus favorable remaining scheduling to close the differential before the regular season concludes. Trader pricing reflects the wisdom of crowds assessing these established trends and roster situations.
