This market will resolve to "Yes" if any player records 461 or more total kills across all maps played during VALORANT Champions 2026 (also known as VCT Champions 2026), currently scheduled for September 24 to October 18, 2026, in Shanghai, China, breaking the record for the most kills by a single player at a VALORANT Champions event. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The current record is 460 kills, set by Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker (OpTic Gaming) at VALORANT Champions 2022, according to vlr.gg. Kills recorded in overtime rounds count. Only completed maps count. Exactly 460 kills would tie, not break, the record and would resolve this market to "No". If VALORANT Champions 2026 is canceled, or is postponed such that it has not concluded by November 17, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source for this market will be the vlr.gg event stats page (https://www.vlr.gg/event/stats/2766/valorant-champions-2026). However, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**The 460-kill benchmark set by yay in 2022 remains the single-tournament record at VALORANT Champions, demanding an extended deep playoff run plus consistently high output across dozens of maps.** With the 2026 event in Shanghai featuring a 16-team GSL group stage followed by double-elimination playoffs (mostly Bo3s, Bo5 grand final), the field’s depth creates balance: multiple squads including EDward Gaming, LOUD, Paper Rex, NRG, and TYLOO feature proven high-volume fraggers such as ZmjjKK, aspas, and emerging standouts like lukxo who posted massive series totals in 2026 regionals. Recent form shows no single player dominating at record pace, while the format’s map volume and meta variability allow realistic paths for outliers yet impose steep barriers against the established mark. Late roster stability, map pool shifts, or an unexpected Cinderella run by a high-ACS duelist could shift implied probabilities either direction before the September 24 start.
