Democrats hold a strong position in the market for Latino men’s support in the 2026 midterms, reflecting recent polling shifts away from Republican candidates. Trump’s approval among Hispanic men has fallen sharply since 2024, with multiple surveys showing disapproval rates of 59-64 percent amid concerns over cost of living, the economy, and immigration enforcement. Generic congressional ballot tests indicate Democrats leading Latino voters overall by double digits, with some data pointing to a roughly 20-point edge among men specifically. This marks a reversal from 2024, when Republican candidates gained ground with this demographic. Traders appear to weigh these trends heavily, viewing sustained economic pressures and voter regret among prior Trump supporters as factors favoring Democratic performance in November.
