This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is relegated from Ligue 1 at the conclusion of the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Official relegation is defined as a team losing its place in Ligue 1 for the following season through their final standing in the 2026-27 Ligue 1, via relegation playoff defeat, or by any other official league decision recognized by Ligue 1. If the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there are no teams confirmed for relegation within that timeframe, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official announcements from Ligue 1. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Newly promoted sides Troyes and Le Mans enter the 2026-27 Ligue 1 campaign with limited resources and thin squads after earning promotion, placing them among the clearest relegation candidates alongside Angers and Le Havre. Early matchday results show mixed outcomes for these clubs, while established mid-table sides benefit from greater squad depth and experience in European or domestic cup competitions. Historical patterns indicate promoted teams frequently occupy the bottom positions by season's end, though strong transfer-window additions or managerial stability could improve survival odds for any side. Trader consensus reflects these structural disadvantages for the newcomers.
