India enters as defending champions with a largely intact core from its 2024 Budapest gold, though cooling ratings and the weight of expectations keep its implied probability near 30 percent. Uzbekistan benefits from home-soil hosting and confirmed participation by multiple top-five players, while the U.S. squad of Caruana, So, Niemann, Aronian, and Liang offers reliable depth and recent match-play experience against Uzbekistan in Miami. China rounds out the top tier at around 10 percent on squad potential, but depth and consistency among the leading four nations sustain a tight contest with no side exceeding a modest edge in the wisdom-of-crowds assessment.
