Anna Leigh Waters and Ben Johns, the top seeds and recent mixed doubles titleholders, hold a strong edge to reach the final at the Veolia Arizona Open due to their proven synergy, quick hands at the net, and consistent dominance on the PPA Tour. Several top teams, including Anna Bright/Hayden Patriquin and the Johnson siblings, are absent, creating a more open draw that has allowed new or lower-seeded pairings to advance deeper. Catherine Parenteau and Federico Staksrud emerged from the opposite half after key wins, setting up a likely championship matchup. Recent form, including Waters/Johns saving multiple match points in the semifinals, reinforces trader consensus around their path while highlighting the unpredictability of three-game pickleball formats.
