This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the NWSL for the 2026 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of NWSL for the 2026 season per the rules of NWSL (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NWSL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The NWSL's 2026 regular season remains tightly contested midway through the schedule, with Gotham FC atop the table but a broad group of contenders clustered just behind and no dominant side pulling away for second place. Recent form, roster depth, and key absences continue to level the field across the 16-team league. High-impact injuries such as Portland Thorns midfielder Olivia Moultrie's season-ending ACL tear, along with earlier concerns around stars like Temwa Chawinga and other attackers, have shifted momentum week to week. Rule adjustments on substitutions and goalkeeper protocols have added tactical variability, while expansion sides and resurgent clubs maintain realistic paths into the upper standings. Traders reflect this parity through closely bunched implied probabilities, underscoring how schedule congestion, home/away splits, and late-season fitness will likely decide the runner-up.
