Malcolm Todd’s “Earrings” leads trader sentiment for the #2 US Spotify song of 2026 at 72.5% implied probability because of its rare combination of catalog longevity and 2026 streaming surges. The 2024 release from his *Sweet Boy* mixtape first topped the US and global Spotify daily charts in late June with 1.75 million daily US streams, then sustained top-three daily and weekly positions into mid-September while accumulating hundreds of millions of additional plays. This sleeper trajectory outpaces earlier 2026 standouts such as Olivia Dean’s “Man I Need,” which reached the billions club and earned Grammy and BRIT recognition but shows lower ongoing momentum. Current daily charts place “Earrings” at #3 behind Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” and KAROL G’s “BbY WOW,” yet its consistent volume and historical precedent for late-year catalog dominance keep it the clear market favorite heading into the final months of the year.
