The Chicago Cubs hold a commanding 72-52 record and lead the NL Central by 13.5 games over the 62-61 Cardinals entering the series finale at Wrigley Field. The Cubs have posted an 8-2 mark in their last 10 games while the Cardinals sit at 6-4, with the teams splitting the first two contests of this set. Right-hander Hunter Dobbins (2-3, 3.40 ERA) takes the mound for St. Louis against Edward Cabrera, recently activated from the injured list and slated to start for Chicago. Key absences include Cubs infielder Matt Shaw and reliever Daniel Palencia on the IL, alongside Cardinals infielder Ramón Urías. Home-field advantage and the Cubs’ superior overall form shape current market positioning ahead of the 3:15 p.m. CT matchup.
