Girona FC enters the Segunda División clash at Estadi Municipal de Montilivi as slight home favorites, with traders assigning 52.5% implied probability to a win compared to 24.5% for CD Castellón and 23.5% for the draw. Castellón’s strong early-season form, including an unbeaten record and defensive solidity with multiple clean sheets, has kept the visitors competitive despite Girona’s home advantage and squad depth. Recent results show Girona mixing wins and draws after a mixed opening, while Castellón continues to generate consistent points in the table. No significant injury concerns or lineup changes have emerged for either side ahead of matchweek 5, leaving the narrow edge for the hosts driven primarily by venue and historical home performance in the division.
