Lorenzo Musetti, the No. 10 seed and world No. 13-15, enters this Cincinnati Open third-round matchup on hard courts after a straight-sets win over Daniel Altmaier, leveraging superior ranking, experience in Masters events, and consistent recent form following his recovery from earlier 2026 injuries. American qualifier Michael Zheng, ranked around 110-118, brings strong momentum after upsetting higher-seeded players including Ugo Humbert and advancing through qualifying, though he lacks prior head-to-head history with Musetti and faces a significant step up in competition. Traders weigh Musetti’s baseline consistency and surface comfort against Zheng’s aggressive potential and home-crowd support, with the Italian viewed as the clear favorite in this early-week encounter.
