Fomin enters as the higher-ranked player (No. 295 vs. Sultanov’s No. 466) with a career-high near 290, while Sultanov peaked at 215. Their head-to-head favors Sultanov 4-3 overall, including a three-set win on hard in July 2024. Both Uzbek players compete on outdoor hard courts where Sultanov posted recent qualifier victories in Zhangjiagang, though Fomin’s stronger recent ranking trajectory and experience at this level shape trader consensus around his implied probability edge. The match occurs early in the draw with limited rest or travel factors noted.
