**Mili Poljicak (ATP 264) faces Max Schoenhaus (ATP 318) in the round of 32 of the Augsburg Challenger on outdoor red clay, with the match scheduled for August 24, 2026.** Poljicak, the Croatian with a stronger 2026 win rate (around 34-14 overall and consistent clay results including San Marino Challenger victories), enters as the slight favorite per trader pricing. His recent clay form, break-point conversion, and higher ranking underpin the modest edge. Schoenhaus, the 19-year-old German prospect with standout junior results (2024 Wimbledon doubles title, 2025 French Open singles final), brings home-soil potential and recent Challenger exposure in Augsburg, yet trails in proven results at this level. Both players feature solid clay pedigrees, with no reported injuries or withdrawals altering the draw. The matchup pits Poljicak’s experience and current momentum against Schoenhaus’s upside and local support, keeping the contest competitive on a surface that rewards consistency in rallies and returns.
