Bonzi enters the Quebec City Challenger first round as the clear favorite against Boulais on outdoor hard courts, backed by a near-top-100 ranking, sixth-seed status, and significantly more ATP-level experience despite a 4-7 record in 2026. The Frenchman has shown flashes of form on hard this summer, including recent appearances at the National Bank Open in Toronto and Cincinnati, while Boulais, a Canadian wildcard ranked outside the top 300, brings limited pro results and recent qualifying losses. Their first career meeting favors the higher-ranked player’s consistency and depth, though the local wildcard could benefit from home support and any early-match rust for Bonzi. The match resolution hinges on official Challenger outcomes.
