Arsenal lead the market at 74.5% implied probability thanks to their unmatched recent defensive record, including a league-low xG conceded over multiple seasons under Mikel Arteta and a first Premier League title in 2025-26. The Gunners opened the 2026-27 campaign with a clean sheet in a 3-0 win and bolstered their backline further via summer arrivals such as Ezri Konsa and Bruno Guimarães. Contenders like Aston Villa, Manchester City, and Liverpool sit around 27-50% amid questions over personnel changes, new coaching setups, and historical gaps in clean-sheet consistency. Promoted sides and mid-table clubs trail at 25-50% due to thinner defensive resources and tougher expected fixtures. Trader consensus reflects Arsenal’s structural edge while acknowledging the inherent variability of an 38-match campaign.
