This market will resolve in favor of the player that finishes the 2026 NCAA FBS regular season with the most receptions. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the player with more receiving yards during the 2026 NCAA FBS regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player with a higher average of receiving yards per reception. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to "Other". If the 2026 NCAA FBS season concludes early, is shortened, or is truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available NCAA FBS statistics for completed games. If the 2026 NCAA FBS regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 3, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which player led NCAA FBS in receptions within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NCAA (https://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fbs); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The tightly bunched probabilities around 45–50% for dozens of wide receivers reflect a wide-open 2026 receptions race driven by returning standouts, high-profile transfers, and shared targets in pass-heavy offenses. Jeremiah Smith at Ohio State, Malachi Toney at Miami, KJ Duff at Rutgers, Cam Coleman and Ryan Wingo at Texas, and Cooper Barkate at Miami headline the group after strong 2025 production and Week 1 volume, yet none has separated due to deep receiving rooms, evolving quarterback situations, and early-season distribution. Additional contenders like Chase Hendricks, Ian Strong, Nick Marsh, and Charlie Becker benefit from new landing spots or expanded roles, while injuries, scheme adjustments, and target competition within offenses continue to compress the field and sustain uncertainty through the opening weeks.
