This market will resolve according to the winner of the 2026 American Conference Football Championship, determining the champion of the American Conference for the 2026 college football season, currently scheduled for December 5, 2026. If this championship is postponed after December 19, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." If multiple teams are declared co-champions, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the American Conference (https://theamerican.org); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The American Athletic Conference race for 2026 remains wide open heading into the season, with no team holding a clear edge in preseason projections or implied probabilities. Navy enters as a slight market leader thanks to its established option offense, returning production at running back, and recent success under Brian Newberry, while UTSA, Memphis, and Tulane sit close behind on the strength of experienced quarterbacks and roster continuity. Memphis benefits from new head coach Charles Huff but faces typical transition questions, and UTSA’s projected offensive output keeps it competitive despite defensive uncertainties. South Florida, East Carolina, and Army round out the next tier with comparable win totals around seven or eight games in most models. This bunched pricing reflects similar overall talent levels, significant roster turnover at quarterback and along the lines across the league, and the absence of a dominant program after recent realignment shifts.
