Only one no-hitter has been recorded in the 2026 MLB regular season, a combined effort by Houston Astros pitchers Tatsuya Imai, Steven Okert, and Alimber Santa on May 25 against the Texas Rangers. This follows a 2025 campaign with zero no-hitters, well below the long-term average of roughly 2.2 per year. No-hitters hinge on elevated strikeout rates, precise command, strong defensive support, and favorable BABIP luck rather than consistent dominance. With roughly six weeks remaining before the regular season concludes, late-summer pitching rotations, bullpen management, and potential clusters of low-hit games could still shape the final total, though high variance makes additional regulation no-hitters uncertain. Recent near-misses, such as Cade Cavalli's eight-inning bid and Noah Cameron's seventh-inning bid, underscore the narrow margins involved.

If no no-hitters are thrown during the 2026 MLB season (including postseason), the market will resolve to “No”.
A ‘no-hitter’ is a complete game in which a pitcher(s) yields no hits to the opposing team.
If the 2026 MLB season concludes early, is shortened, or is truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available MLB statistics for completed games.
If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if the exact number of “no-hitters” cannot be determined within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "No".
The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the MLB; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
