Ferrari’s internal friction and early-race incident between Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, which ended in the latter’s heavy crash and retirement, highlighted execution risks for the Scuderia at its home circuit. Alpine’s surprise pole via Pierre Gasly and McLaren’s recent form added volatility, while Red Bull’s Liam Lawson continuing in place of the injured Isack Hadjar influenced any Verstappen-adjacent matchups. Trader pricing reflected these confirmed developments and the track’s emphasis on power-unit performance over the past week.
