Leviatán’s breakthrough 3-2 grand final victory over Paper Rex at Masters London in June stands as the defining recent development, marking the Americas squad’s first international title with a roster heavy on rookies and ending Pacific’s streak of four consecutive Masters wins. Heading into Stage 2 and Champions Shanghai (late September), trader attention centers on championship-point races across Americas, Pacific, EMEA, and China, where Leviatán, Paper Rex, NRG, G2, and EDward Gaming currently lead regional standings. Roster stability, patch-driven meta shifts, and qualification paths will shape which teams reach the year’s final international event, with upsets common in the high-variance Valorant scene.
