Trey McBride and Brock Bowers top the implied probabilities near 40% for the 2026-27 scrimmage touchdowns lead, driven by their heavy target shares and consistent red-zone usage as primary tight ends in pass-oriented offenses. McBride’s prior 11-touchdown season and Bowers’ emerging volume create a narrow edge over wideouts like CeeDee Lamb and running backs such as Jonathan Taylor or Kenneth Walker III, whose projections sit in the mid-30s amid committee backfields and goal-line competition. The broad clustering around 25-42% reflects high variance in touchdown distribution, regression risks for prior leaders, and situational factors like offensive line health or quarterback stability that keep multiple viable contenders within striking distance of the title.
