Luis Arraez holds a clear edge in the MLB batting average leader market at 68.5% implied probability, reflecting his season-long .316 mark through mid-September and track record of elite contact rates with minimal strikeouts. Yordan Alvarez (.310) and Otto Lopez (.310) sit next at 16% and 7.4%, buoyed by strong recent form but trailing in overall consistency and plate appearances. Late-season developments, including Arraez's continued steady production with the Phillies and the absence of major injuries among qualifiers, have reinforced trader consensus around his lead. Contenders like Freddie Freeman and Yandy Díaz remain long shots at under 3%, as their averages lag and the remaining schedule offers limited opportunities to close the gap.
