The absence of several top teams, including Anna Bright, Jorja and JW Johnson, and others, has created a wide-open mixed doubles draw at the 2026 Veolia Arizona Open in Mesa. This has bunched implied probabilities tightly around 50% for many pairings, reflecting trader consensus on elevated uncertainty in a field lacking its usual hierarchy. Anna Leigh Waters and Ben Johns remain the top seeds with proven synergy and recent form, yet recent upsets against them underscore vulnerability to rising challengers such as Rachel Rohrabacher/Christian Alshon, Tyra Black/Noe Khlif, and new or resurgent combinations like Jonathan Truong/Catherine Parenteau. Head-to-head trends, bracket positioning, and the potential for lower seeds to advance further in this format keep the market competitive across multiple contenders.
