The Red Sox enter Sunday’s series finale at Fenway Park with strong momentum after a dramatic three-run ninth-inning rally produced a 3-2 walk-off win on Saturday, improving their record to 70-59 and third place in the AL East. Boston’s pitching staff ranks among the league’s best with a 3.51 ERA, and left-hander Jake Bennett (7-6, 3.46 ERA) takes the mound against Giants rookie Matt Wilkinson in his second career start. San Francisco (52-77) arrives on a three-game skid with a 23-44 road mark and has dropped 10 of its last 13 overall. Multiple key players remain on the injured list for both clubs, including several Red Sox starters, though Boston’s depth and home advantage have shaped the clear trader preference reflected in current pricing.
