This market will resolve according to the team that finishes as runner-up of the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to finish as runner-up of the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League per the rules of UEFA Champions League (e.g., they are eliminated before the final, or they win the final), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League season is cancelled, postponed after June 19, 2027, 11:59 PM ET or the final is otherwise not played within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be official information from UEFA Champions League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The early 2026-27 UEFA Champions League league phase has produced a tightly bunched field after matchday 1, with PSG, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Manchester United, and Como among the initial winners while established contenders like Arsenal, Liverpool, Real Madrid, and Manchester City sit just behind on points. This parity stems from the expanded 36-team format requiring eight matches per side, where goal difference, head-to-head results, and fixture difficulty will separate teams over the coming months. Squad depth, key injuries, and rotation decisions by coaches will influence consistency, as historical patterns show multiple clubs routinely challenging for top spots through the knockout phase. Trader consensus reflects this open race, with no single side establishing a dominant edge yet.
