This market will resolve in favor of “John/Paige” if the team of Big John and Paige Spiranac wins more holes than the team of JR Smith and Claire Hogle in the 2026 Polymarket Classic. Otherwise, this market will resolve in favor of “JR/Claire”. This match will be played as an 18-hole scramble between teams. No handicap strokes will be awarded to either player. Both teams begin even at 0-0. Best ball position will be played by each team. The team that wins each hole earns 1 point. The team who wins the most holes over 18 holes wins the match. In the event of a tie after 18 holes, a sudden-death scramble will be played until there is a winner. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the 2026 Polymarket Classic is cancelled, postponed after August 15, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if it cannot be determined which team won within that timeframe, this market will resolve to 50-50. The primary resolution source will be the official stream from the official channels of the named participants. The closely contested Polymarket Classic pits Paige Spiranac and Big John against JR Smith and Claire Hogle in an 18-hole, 2v2 scramble format scheduled for August 1. Trader pricing near 50.5% for the Spiranac/Big John side reflects balanced team strengths, with Spiranac's established creator-golf following and consistent short-game precision offset by Smith's athletic power and Hogle's recent form in similar match-play events. Scramble rules amplify the impact of complementary skill sets and on-course chemistry over individual rankings, while limited head-to-head history and the single-day format introduce variance that keeps implied probabilities tight. Any confirmed injury, last-minute lineup adjustment, or course-condition update could quickly shift sentiment ahead of the opening tee.
