**The Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts, both 0-1 after Week 1 losses, face off in the first of two 2026 regular-season meetings on September 27 at Lucas Oil Stadium, with the rematch set for November 19 in Houston.** Texans enter with notable offensive absences, including wide receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) and guard Ed Ingram (groin), alongside other roster questions that have limited their early production following a 36-31 defeat to Buffalo. The Colts, coming off a 41-23 loss to Baltimore, will look to leverage home-field advantage in a divisional contest where recent history favors Houston—the Texans have won the last five meetings, including a sweep in 2025. Trader consensus reflects the matchup's balance and early-season volatility, with a 1-1 series split viewed as the most probable outcome given both teams' defensive vulnerabilities, injury impacts, and the split home/away schedule. The second game in Houston could shift momentum depending on health and form entering November.
