The wide-open 2026-27 NFL Week 1 scrimmage yards market reflects a deep pool of viable candidates across running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends, with implied probabilities clustered tightly because no single player enters the season with a dominant workload edge. Week 1 outcomes hinge on official injury reports, offensive scheme emphasis, and matchup-specific volume, where teams often distribute touches early before establishing hierarchies. Recent training camp and preseason developments—such as backfield committees, slot usage for pass-catching backs, and defensive fronts allowing big plays—have kept several established names and emerging options bunched, underscoring the inherent unpredictability of early-season stat leaders. Trader consensus captures this parity through balanced pricing rather than elevating any one profile.

Only games designated by the NFL as Week 1 of the 2026-27 regular season count.
In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with more scrimmage touchdowns (rushing touchdowns plus receiving touchdowns) in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player with a higher average of scrimmage yards per touch (scrimmage yards divided by the sum of rushing attempts and receptions) in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to "Other".
If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened or truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available NFL statistics for completed games.
If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past September 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which player led the NFL in scrimmage yards within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
