The 2026 NFL sack leader market remains tightly contested because multiple defensive fronts feature elite edge talent, proven production, and depth that could push any into the league lead. The Broncos return the unit that topped the league with 68 sacks in 2025, anchored by Nik Bonitto and supported by rotational pieces stepping into larger roles after Jonathon Cooper’s status became uncertain. The Texans rely on the high-pressure tandem of Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter, who generated elite rates and double-digit sacks previously. The Rams added record-setting Myles Garrett to pair with Byron Young, elevating their front-seven ranking. Additional contenders such as the Eagles, Seahawks, and Ravens possess comparable combinations of established rushers and scheme advantages, leaving the outcome dependent on health, usage, and in-season adjustments across a competitive group.
