This market will resolve to "Yes" if the above team is seeded No. 1, No. 2, No. 3, or No. 4 in the 2026-27 College Football Playoff bracket, and "No" otherwise. If the 2026-27 College Football Playoff is canceled, or an official bracket is not released by December 20, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, all outcomes in this market will resolve to "No." The resolution source for this market will be official information from the College Football Playoff (collegefootballplayoff.com); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Preseason consensus among coaches, analysts, and early projections places Ohio State, Oregon, Georgia, Texas, and Notre Dame as the leading candidates for the top four College Football Playoff seeds in 2026. These programs enter the season with elite returning talent, strong recruiting classes, and proven coaching staffs after strong 2025 campaigns that included multiple College Football Playoff appearances or near-misses. The expanded 12-team format, with top conference champions earning byes and seeding advantages, amplifies the value of regular-season dominance in the SEC and Big Ten. Recent developments include the release of the preseason Coaches Poll and AP projections highlighting these teams' depth at key positions, while schedule strength, injury management, and conference title contention will shape final rankings once the season begins in late August. Trader sentiment reflects this established hierarchy while acknowledging how early upsets or quarterback play could shift the field.
