Bayern Munich enter the 2026-27 Bundesliga as clear frontrunners after claiming a second straight title in 2025-26 with 89 points and a record 122 goals, bolstered by summer additions like Nathaniel Brown and Ismael Saibari plus continuity under Vincent Kompany. Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, VfB Stuttgart, and Bayer Leverkusen form the primary group chasing the remaining top-four spots, with Dortmund projected as the strongest challenger after finishing second last term and Leipzig and Leverkusen adjusting under new management. Early-season results and squad depth will shape momentum, while European fixtures and injury management add variables for the established contenders aiming to secure Champions League qualification.
